Lauren is a property and real estate lawyer with experience in a range of real estate transactions, commercial and retail leasing, titling and legal due diligence for both private and public sector clients. 

Lauren can advise on the entire property process – from due diligence, to acquisition, development, titling and disposal. 

Lauren has also been previously seconded to a private equity firm and the Department of Education, assisting their legal team on a range of property issues. 

Experience

Lauren’s recent experience includes:

• acting in relation to acquisitions and disposals of commercial, retail and residential properties across Australia, including extensive lease and general property due diligence  
• acting for a large superannuation fund in the acquisition and disposal of numerous shopping centres and large corporate office towers in NSW and QLD
• acting in the disposal of a large leasehold interest in the North Head Quarantine Station at Manly
• acting for a large investment and funds management business in the acquisition and disposal of multiple hotels across Australia
• advising the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment on proposed legislative reforms affecting property transactions
• acting for and advising Scentre Group on its (Westfield) retail shopping centre portfolio across Australia
• advising property developers in relation to strata and community scheme subdivisions.
