Krishneel is a senior associate in our Construction, Infrastructure and Projects team, with a primary focus on construction and infrastructure contracts. 

Krishneel’s focus is on delivering specialist advice in construction and procurement across all levels, including private sector and government clients, principals, developers, contractors and consultants. Krishneel has previously undertaken a 10 month secondment at ASX listed Transurban Limited.

Experience

Krishneel’s experience includes:

  • drafting various parts of the EPC Contract (FIDIC Silver) for the $5bn Snowy 2.0 hydropower project, drafting ancillary documents including interface deeds, novation and warranty deeds, heads of agreement, process deed polls, deeds of disclaimer, legal sign off documentation, risk allocation matrices and undertaking tender and probity assessments
  • drafting various parts of the due diligence report, and running the transaction data room, for the $9.3bn WestConnex asset sale. Worked very closely with the NSW Treasury transaction team
  • drafting submissions for, and providing ad hoc advice to, the Sydney Motorway Corporation on the $2bn WestConnex M5 expert determination
  • drafting the construction contracts (GC21 suite) for the $300m redevelopment of Penrith Stadium for INSW
  • drafting the construction contract (AS 4902) for the new $200m 26 floor Victoria University campus in Melbourne
  • drafting the $100m construction contract (GC21) for the refurbishment of The Cutaway Cultural Facility in Barangaroo for INSW
  • drafting the construction management contract (AS 4916) and bespoke trade contracts for the new $40m Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Suva, Fiji featuring 178 guest rooms
  • drafting the bespoke construction contract for the $25m fitout of new CBA office premises in Barangaroo
  • drafting the $20 million construction contract (AS4902) for upgrades to King Street Wharf, Sydney
  • drafting the $20m project delivery agreement, occupation and operation licence and construction licence for the construction of a new Learning and Library Hub Facility in Warrnambool, Victoria for the Victorian Government
  • drafting the $13m design and construction contracts (AS 4902) for the construction of three warehouses in the Charles Sturt Industrial Estate in South Australia
  • drafting a suite of reactive maintenance contracts for the Women’s Housing Company to be used on works statewide
  • drafting the access licence for the construction of new commuter car parking at North Rocks for Hills M2 Motorway
  • drafting the construction and project management contracts for the remediation of aluminum composite panel cladding for a 9 storey residential apartment building in Sydney
  • drafting various telecommunications licences for the M2 Motorway, Eastern Distributor and M5 South West
  • advising a NSW Council on contract issues relating to performance security and defects in light of the potential insolvency of the construction contractor
  • drafting the chlorine gas contract for drinking water treatment for a NSW Council
  • advising the Department of Defence on probity issues on various defence projects.
