Christabel is a senior associate in our Construction, Infrastructure & Projects team. Her experience spans across the project lifecycle, with a primary focus on providing advice at tender stage, drafting procurement contracts, negotiating and advising on risk allocation and advising on project and claims management.

Christabel has experience advising both public and private sector clients including for principals, contractors, consultants and suppliers.

Experience

Christabel’s experiences includes:

• advising City of Melbourne on, and preparing the contract for, the procurement of event management and catering services at the iconic Melbourne Town Hall
• advising an industry superannuation fund on, and preparing procurement contracts for, various projects across Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth
• advising a major wind OEM on project management and claims in relation to its wind farm project in New Zealand
• preparing a suite of procurement and services contracts for the City of Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula Shire Council
• advising City of Melbourne on, and preparing a framework agreement for, architectural services in relation to the Melbourne Greenline Project
• acting for an independent school on building defects related to combustible cladding products
• acting for Owners Corporations on property damage and building defects related to water ingress
• acting for a market leading construction contractor in relation to a security of payment claim, including successfully seeking judgment for the contractor in the County Court in relation to the claimed amount.
